So is this going to continue to happen while we try to evacuate our people and Afghans? It’s being reported that the marines were drawn into a firefight at the airport in Kabul. I’m sure I’m not the only one who knew something like this would happen. The Biden administration is well aware of the dangers of having our people drawn into firefights. I feel as if this happens again then we need to have more military presence whether the Taliban likes it or not. I know it’s dangerous what I’m proposing, but I’m so sick and damn tired of the most powerful nation on this god-given earth taken bull from nations that really don’t stand a chance.
We need someone in the Oval office who isn’t afraid to pull that grenade pin. Why should we always worry about the civilians when our enemy doesn’t care who they target. 9/11, the perfect example of what I just said. They had no mercy on innocent civilians so I don’t think we should either. I know those are some strong words and feelings of mine (Personal Opinion) that I just can’t hide. America needs to be recognized again as the superpower of this world. I never want to see another terrorist attack on our soil.
The way I feel about domestic terrorists, why arrest them, kill the ba**. Stop trying to take them alive when they want to have a shoot-out with our men. President Biden is not the President with the backbone we need. Politics, politics, politics, they worry more about getting elected again than turning the fire up on our enemies. We had one in the office who would do just that. Former President Trump I believe would have had a different tone on Afghanistan. Even though I may not have agreed with everything he did (Twitter) I still believe he was the President who had the backbone to go after our enemies.
He didn’t hesitate to give the order to kill Qassem Soleimani. Washington was even having a fallout with Iran at the time, but, that didn’t stop President Trump. Iran was showed we are the superpower, not you. If we were to go to war with Iran, Bombing them to nothing would be the way to go. It was also reported that no American soldiers were injured. Which is always good. I still say The Biden administration needs to take a much firmer hand in this conflict. They did have an Afghan security force member killed reported by CNN.
There were up to 20,000 thousand Afgan people at the airport trying to get out of Afghanistan at the time all this went down. At this time they still don’t know who the sniper was or what terrorist group he may have belonged to. There is no doubt in my mind there will be many other terrorist groups trying to get the fighting started just to see Americans die. if this happens, Will Biden have the backbone to do what needs to be done?
An Italian humanitarian organization that operates hospitals in Afghanistan said six people were treated for bullet wounds, none of which were life-threatening, according to The Associated Press.
“The U.S. military and NATO did not immediately acknowledge the shooting,” the AP reported. “There was no comment from the Taliban.”
