Will Democrats Give Up Their Hold On Education?

Posted on October 23, 2021, Michael Cavalier – Editor

The Left wants to take over the education system, but they know most people don’t want the government teaching their kids what to think instead of teaching them how to think. That’s why they’re subverting it from within with Socialism, which means Communism in America.

The NEA was founded as a socialist organization and held its first national convention in 1850 at Nantucket, Massachusetts under Samuel Gompers who would later go on to become President of The American Federation of Labor (AFL). Members included radical abolitionist William H. Sylvis and Sojourner Truth along with Horace Mann, Henry Barnard, and George J. Veazey. During their second meeting which convened three years later in 1853, attendees adopted a resolution calling for public schools widened … so that all classes of people may receive opportunities for their children.

At which time they also rejected private schools as tools of oppression by powerful families. In 1870 they released an official statement supporting workers’ rights and their right to form unions as well as increased taxation on corporations and high incomes — just like we have today! By 1928 education issues had become such an important part of their platform that they made it into their name: National Education Association — whereas before it had been called: National Teachers Association. Today’s mission is no different from its original mission back in 1850.

According to former President Lily Eskelsen Garcia, No one has done more for America’s public school students than NEA members. No one? This explains why socialistic ideologies are infiltrating our schools across America while lowering academic standards while simultaneously increasing student debt… All predicated upon Karl Marx saying, The Capital must be overthrown! Now Rebecca S. Pringle is President of The NEA since 2020.

The Democratic Party’s platform is a call for a radical transformation of American society—of our economy, our government, and our very way of life. And nothing highlights that transformation more clearly than what they demand from America’s public schools: taxpayer-funded school choice for all; high academic standards coupled with low-stakes assessments; respect for teachers and support staff who empower students to learn from their mistakes; local control and decentralized power; teacher tenure linked to performance and driven by collaboration and cooperation between educators and families.

According to its then 2012 party platform (Nothing has changed), The Democratic Party believes that every child should have access to high-quality public education and has fought for decades to ensure that every child has an equal opportunity to get one. Nowhere in its fifty pages does it say no exceptions, no excuses. Nowhere does it talk about withholding federal funding if these changes are not implemented immediately—or even within ten years. But can we expect anything less from a political party whose standard-bearer describes his own views as those of a Socialist?

Biden isn’t alone. Hillary Clinton drew cheers at the National Education Association when she told delegates gathered in Denver that it was time to rethink capitalism because we don’t think big enough. It was hardly her first foray into Socialistic thinking. In May 2014, during a Georgetown University speech on foreign policy, she called for increased government spending on health care and education while also decrying tax cuts for businesses. In July 2014, speaking before a panel of potential donors to Priorities USA Action—the super PAC behind Obama’s re-election campaign—she argued that money given to politicians affects the very systems themselves. She asked where leaders will be taking us two or eight or twelve years from now.

Giving everyone free college isn’t free because someone has to pay for it! The people who will end up paying are those who already pay taxes and now these tax dollars will be used for FREE COLLEGE! This is not fair. How about helping people by giving them jobs? Everyone deserves a chance at success but making colleges free takes away what they need most, money. If you don’t have any money then how can you go to college? Some students work 40 hours per week but most only work 15-20 hours per week. Why do most students not work 40 hours per week?

It’s because most students cannot find full-time employment due to their political beliefs or lack thereof. If we make all colleges free we give another advantage to conservatives. Conservatives DO NOT want socialism and THAT IS WHAT MAKES THE DEMOCRATS UPSET!! If all colleges become free then student loans will go bye-bye (bye-bye money). Socialism leads us down a dangerous path; A path that leads straight into communism; A country without freedom; A country without religion; AND……A country without GOD!!!!! So who wants that?!?! NO ONE!!! So let’s fight together and try to prevent our future from becoming one where we lose our rights and freedoms.

God Bless America, God Save The Veterans
