On Thursday, Feb. 3rd (Today), President Joe Biden made an announcement. The leader of ISIS Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi had been killed in a raid carried out by the United States in Syria. While many details are still forthcoming, it appears that this is a major victory for the United States and its allies in the fight against terrorism.
Conservatives everywhere should rejoice at this news and be grateful to our brave servicemen and women who put their lives on the line to protect us all. Let’s hope that this is only the beginning of a successful campaign to stamp out ISIS and other Terrorist groups once and for all. As reported by the Associated Press
The house, surrounded by olive trees in fields outside Atmeh, was left with its top floor shattered and blood-spattered inside. A journalist on assignment for The Associated Press and several residents said they saw body parts scattered near the site. Most residents spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals.
“The first moments were terrifying; no one knew what was happening,” said Jamil el-Deddo, a resident of a nearby refugee camp.
“We were worried it could be Syrian aircraft, which brought back memories of barrel bombs that used to be dropped on us,” he added, referring to crude explosives-filled containers used by President Bashar Assad’s forces against opponents during the Syrian conflict.

Al-Qurayshi was named ISIS leader in October 2019 after his predecessor, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was killed in a U.S. raid in the same region. Al-Qurayshi was a dangerous man with a lot of blood on his hands.
An overnight raid by United States special forces in northwestern Syria led to the death of the Islamic State terror group’s top leader, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, President Joe Biden said Thursday. Al-Qurayshi died after detonating a suicide bomb that also killed members of his family as U.S. forces closed in, Biden said in an address from the White House.
Al-Baghdadi also detonated a suicide bomb during the 2019 raid, killing himself and three of his children. Al-Qurayshi “oversaw the spread of ISIS-affiliated terrorist groups around the world after savaging communities and murdering innocents,” Biden said.
At least 13 people were killed, among them six children and four women, in clashes and bombing that took place “after an American airdrop” according to the local White Helmets rescue service.
“Our teams treated the injured and recovered the bodies” from the residence targeted in the operation, the volunteer relief group formally known as the Syrian Civil Defense said in a statement. NBC
All of this is really good news. Finally, Joe Biden is showing a little backbone. The world and our allies were worried that the United States had become weak. First, let me say, we have never been weak. We have and will always be the world power.
This in no way covers up the blunder of pulling out of Afghanistan. Last night our Special Forces killed a very dangerous terrorist leader but turned over Afghanistan to another blood-thirsty terrorist group. Let’s start hitting their training camps.
