Putin’s’ War Has Begun in Ukraine

Posted by – Michael Cavalier – Writer

Russia has begun its war with Ukraine. The Ukraine military will fight as hard as they can against Russia’s military, but to no avail, it is un-winnable for the Ukraine military. here is a quote from a friend of mine:

“I feel for the brave young men in both armies. They will die, lives have barely begun. For all you spoiled, young Americans, cherish what you have today, tomorrow is not a promise”.

There is no doubt without their help I probably would have waited for longer before changing Political parties. I am very thankful to both of these guys. Now back to the article.

However, Russia has launched its war in Ukraine, Article by vox.com

Putin declared a “special military operation” in Ukraine, and Kyiv has confirmed the start of hostilities in a devastating new chapter for Europe.

Russia’s long-looming invasion of Ukraine has officially begun.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced Thursday morning local time that he is launching a “special military operation” in Ukraine, a move that was followed up by reports of explosions around cities, including Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine, and the capital, Kyiv.

The Ukrainian foreign minister also confirmed that “Putin has just launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Peaceful Ukrainian cities are under strike.”

Putin’s attempt to redraw the map of Europe could lead to the most devastating conflict on the continent since World War II. It could cost thousands of civilian lives and create hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing the violence in Ukraine.

Putin’s declaration came while the United Nations Security Council held a special session in New York on the Ukraine crisis, and bombing began shortly thereafter, according to multiple news reports. In his address, Putin claimed “to defend people who for eight years are suffering persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime,” a reference to a false claim about the government in Ukraine. Putin claimed that the Russian military seeks “demilitarization and denazification” but not occupation. He demanded Ukraine lay down its weapons or President Volodyymyr Zelenskyy would be “responsible for the bloodshed.”

Exactly what’s happening on the ground in Ukraine is hard to know. Russia has already used misinformation tactics and will likely jam up local communications. But it’s hard to interpret what Putin said as anything other than a declaration of war.

The tension over Ukraine has been building for months, but escalated quickly this week, when, on Monday, Putin delivered an hour-long and combative speech that essentially denied Ukrainian statehood. He recognized the independence of two breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine where Moscow has backed separatists since 2014, and sent so-called peacekeeping forces into the region. As experts said, that was likely the beginning, not the end, setting the stage for a much larger conflict.

I couldn’t get over Jake Tapper from CNN. The norm at CNN is to back, and protect President Joe Biden, not to come out and break with the fake media by giving a statement that even he has no corrections added or taken out of his statement.

Tapper Calls Out Biden’s Russia Sanctions as Weak, Less Than Deterrent

Not long after Tuesday’s joint press conference between Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announcing new sanctions on Russia for invading Ukraine, CNN’s Jake Tapper was joined on The Lead by the latter. There, Tapper called out the sanctions as weak, less than what Ukraine was asking for, and barely a deterrent to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

What could Jake Tapper be up to? Why did he come out of step with the Democrats? I’m going to leave the article just the way it is. Let me know through the comments. I’m sure there will be a few comments on what you think Tapper is up to.

Republicans need to get out and vote in the mid-terms of 2022 and take back the power from the Democrats.
