Act Like an American President Joe

I have to admit, I don’t really know much about the old Iran nuclear deal. I haven’t even begun to absorb my new surroundings in the Republican party. With the war going on in Ukraine it seems to be the only thing that’s really hot until I read this.

Western officials have said Russia’s 11th-hour request was the reason for the failure, and it is unclear whether the 2015 Iran nuclear deal can be saved. Russia’s 11th-hour demand threatened to derail talks aimed at reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, while world powers appeared close to a deal with Iran, Western officials, and former U.S. officials.

U.S. and European governments have so far rejected Russia’s 11th-hour demands, arguing that it was outside the scope of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal. The JCPOA, or Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, is the official name for the 2015 agreement that saw how Iran could limit Iran’s uranium enrichment in exchange for lifting economic sanctions.

Russia’s eleventh-hour demands are threatening to torpedo negotiations aimed at reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, just as world powers appeared close to reaching an agreement with Tehran, Western officials and former U.S. officials said Friday.

Negotiations in Vienna broke up Friday without any agreed time when the parties would meet again after Russia said it wanted written guarantees that new Western sanctions imposed on Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine would not interfere with its trade and military cooperation with Iran.

The Russian move put at risk a months-long effort by the United States and European powers to curtail Iran’s nuclear work and prevent Tehran from building nuclear weapons. Before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent Western reaction, Moscow had played a largely constructive role in the nuclear talks, according to Western diplomats.  By  CNBC News

The agreement included easing Iranian sanctions in exchange for limiting Iran’s nuclear program to ensure that Tehran could not develop nuclear weapons, which it has vehemently denied. The deal will restart the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Action Plan signed by the US, UK, France, Russia, China, Germany, the EU, and Iran to lift sanctions restricting the sale of Iranian oil in exchange for concessions on the program. . The parties in the talks expected to reach an agreement by Sunday that would bring Iran back into line with restrictions on Iran’s booming nuclear activities and allow Washington to join the 2015 nuclear deal. “, but the parties called for a pause in the talks in Vienna due to “external factors,” EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell told reporters.

A revived Iranian nuclear deal must secure “equal rights” for all world powers involved, Russia said on Monday after Iran asked for details of Moscow’s demands for the United States’ guarantees on restoring the accord.

This comes after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said last Saturday that, before backing the Iran nuclear deal, his country wants written assurances from Washington that Western sanctions imposed on it over the Ukraine war would not affect its economic and military cooperation with Tehran.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken called such demands “irrelevant” the next day, adding that sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine “have nothing to do with the Iran nuclear deal.”     ‘reported by’

The main reason for this article, as I said earlier, I don’t really know what’s in the Iran nuclear push, but I’m willing to truth what I hear from the Republican side’s view of it. The reason for the article? When will the Biden administration stop fearing threats coming from Putin? The world is watching you, Joe Biden. Act like American President.

God Bless America, God Bless the Veterans
