Ukrainian officials say Russian forces pounded areas around Ukraine’s capital and another city overnight. The attacks come hours after Moscow pledged to scale back military operations in those places. The shelling further tempered optimism about any progress in talks to end the war.

Russia did not spell out what exactly it planned to do differently. While the promise initially raised hopes that a path toward peace was coming into view, Ukraine’s president and others cautioned that the remarks could merely be bluster. “newscenter1.tv/

Vladimir Putin lies like a rug. He should never be believed and should be treated as so. We will always know what he is doing because we have people around him. I’m all for them kicking him out of everything that has to do with the G7 summit and the UN, but we need to know what he is up to.

If he is kicked out of all the summits and the UN, he would be able to narrow down who is feeding us information about him. As for his lying, the whole world is watching him, and he is playing his hand badly. I think the journalist should have a little meeting and decide to kick the Russian reporter’s ass. He is doing nothing but playing down how dangerous this war is.

I’m sure that upsets all the other journalists reporting on the war, even putting their own life at risk. I mean, I know they can’t and will not do such a thing, but wouldn’t it be nice to hear that they did it? Here is why I would love to see something like this. This Russian reporter sees what is going on and still feeds the lies back to the Russian people.

Ukraine’s president said his defenses against a Russian invasion had reached a “tipping point” and repeated his call for additional U.S. aid hours after the Kremlin pulled back on a pledge to scale back some operations.

In a conversation with U.S. President Joe Biden, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the Ukrainian war was at a “tipping point” and repeated his call for more help to deal with the war in Ukraine and a Russian invasion.

He thanked the U.S. for the $500 million in additional aid announced on Wednesday and said Ukraine needed more help to resist a Russian invasion. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also said he had recalled Ukraine’s ambassadors to Georgia and Morocco, Georgia and Morocco, suggesting he was not doing enough to persuade those countries to support Ukraine and punish Russia for aggression.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he stressed in a conversation with U.S. President Joe Biden that the war is at a “turning point” and renewed his longstanding request for more help to resist the Russian invasion. “If we are fighting for freedom and defense of democracy together, then we have a right to demand help in this challenging turning point.

Tanks, aircraft, artillery systems. Freedom should be armed no worse than tyranny,” Zelenskyy said in his nightly video address to the nation, which he delivered standing in the dark outside the dimly lit presidential offices in Kyiv. He thanked the U.S. for an additional $500 million in aid that was announced Wednesday. “apnews.com

The United States and its allies need to keep arming the Ukrainians. Putin is never going, to tell the truth. He is trying to regroup his troops before trying again to capture Ukraine. AS once said, the Ukrainians fight like Americans would against this tyrant.

God Bless America, God Bless the Veterans and the Ukrainian military.
