Many Americans including myself have seen the brutal killing of civilians in Ukraine. Hate is a powerful tool. It is hard for a military person to not hate their enemies.

America has a very disciplined military and that is what Putin fears. I can understand the Ukrainian military’s hatred for Russia and the Russian troops who are carrying out these horrific war crimes against Ukrainian civilians. President Zelenskyy said he “can’t cry anymore”.

Ukrainian President  Zelensky has said he “can’t cry anymore” after witnessing the victims of the war with Russia.  Zelensky has said that Russia and Ukraine are “one people” and reiterated his claims that his army is fighting “neo-Nazis” in Ukraine.

Zelensky added that he felt “hatred for Russia, for Russian soldiers” for alleged war crimes in Ukraine. The contentious issues could be territories occupied by Russian troops, including Crimea, or security guarantees that countries offer Ukraine instead of NATO membership, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday described in an interview the toll that the war with Russia has taken on his people and himself. “I don’t cry anymore. I cannot cry anymore,” Zelenskyy said. “The first days were really hard. My eyes were always wet. The dead children I saw. This is unbearable.”

Zelenskyy made the comments on Friday during an interview with BILD, which is owned by Axel Springer, Insider’s parent company. “All of this doesn’t make one a better person. One doesn’t get used to all these victims,” Zelenskyy said.   “.businessinsider.com

My thoughts and prayers are for President Zelenskyy and his military. Question is, when the Russian military begins its assault in the eastern part of Ukraine, will Zelenskyy and mis military be consumed with hatred for the Russian troops? Will they start executing any Russians taken as prisoners? Is the Ukrainian military disciplined enough to keep their hatred in check? As of now the Ukrainian military has shown its discipline and its ability to fight as one by holding back an entire Russian army.

Zelenskyy saying he “can’t cry anymore” Is simply heart breaking. After all the cornage he has seen and witnessed its hard not to hate the enemy. Innocent Ukrainian civilians are being targeted by Putin and the Russian army. Its hard for Zelenskyy to have to see civilians slaughtered. mainly the children.

Bucha’s mayor said that hundreds of people had been buried in mass graves as the streets were “littered with corpses.”

Zelenskyy said on Friday that “it is very hard to sleep” at night, so he reads the news. He added that he harbors a hatred for what the Russian soldiers have done, which he has called the “genocide” of his people and “the elimination of the whole nation.”

“I do feel hate against Russia, against Russian soldiers – I have no secrets here,” Zelenskyy said. “Yes, I feel it when I see these pictures before my eyes, when I see pictures of murdered children that have no more legs or arms. It is just terrible.”

He added: “Me, as a father, I think of my own children, and I imagine how this must be like. Me, as a father, I know how it is to raise a child, see it growing – and then, suddenly, you see the pictures of dead children. It makes you think of the parents who will never see their children grow up. No more celebrations with them. These parents were looted of their future. They lost everything.”  “businessinsider.com

Putin is fearful of failure. His failure to take Ukraine’s capital has him targeting children and adult Ukrainians. He now knows the resolve of the Ukrainian people and its military. They will fight the Russian army to the last man or woman standing. I’ll say it again, the Ukrainians fight like Americans. I see them defeating the Russian military now that they have been armed with weapons by NATO and its allies including the United States.

God Bless America, God Bless the Veterans
